Hidden Wounds Village Alpha is VAlanthropy’s veteran housing initiative in Sumter, South Carolina. The development will include 12 permanent, affordable one-bedroom apartments across three residential buildings.
Each apartment will provide a veteran with a private kitchen, living area, bathroom, and adaptable accessibility features. Veterans will also have access to trauma-informed support, employment transition assistance, community reintegration resources, and long-term outcome tracking.
VAlanthropy leads the development, infrastructure, construction, furnishing, funding strategy, and long-term sustainability of Hidden Wounds Village Alpha.
